Saimi has just turned 1 years old and hasn't got into very much yet. Still she and her sister are
probably the most energic puppies we've ever had! Despite of her young age she's already been
in Dog shows 3 times (official class) and has already 2 CC's!  Besides the show career we expect
success also in tracking. Time will tell how this little girl does.

Now she is almost 2 (year 2003 )years old young lady, but she still behaves like a girl. She is so full
of life and energy that all her relatives (granny, mum, aunt and sister) are in a very good condition
because they have to play with her. On her second year she did very nicely in show rings.This summer
we will try tracking in competitions and we will try to find the rabbit. Perhaps some day she will learn
to behave like a lady. That`s my dream anyway....

Last summer Saimi took part in tracking competitions and she worked well. She took two 1 prize
and next year (2005) she will continue her career. In the shows she did very well too. In 2004 she
was the second best ess in the ranking of Spanieliliitto (National Club) ... and she was also the
most successful show ess of our own club (The Spaniel Club of Northern Finland).

Saimi whelped 7 sweet puppies around Midsummer 2005. It will be very exciting to watch the
puppies grow and see what the future brings for them. The year 2005 was very exaiting to Saimi.
Inspite of her puppies she was 5th Best ESS in our country.  She was also the most successful show
dog of our Kennel distric and in our own club.

Saimi `s year 2006 was full of diffrent dog shows. She was 3 times BOB and 2 BOS. She got also
several Best Bitch placemets during this show year. Saimi was 7th Best Ess in our country. In the
same time she was teaching her daughter Pihla to behavio in shows and fields and she did it in a
very successful way.

Last year (2007) Saimi was  22nd Best Ess in our country.  Saimi had two highlites on her career
during the year 2007. First one was the tracking result from Pyhäntä. She got hers very first 1st
prize at winner class so she needs two more to finnish her title. Next memorable result was in
Tartu, Estoni Int. Dog show. There Saimi got her Est Ch and finnished her Int. Champion titles.
Saimi`s  progeny  were  competiting very well too. Iiro finnished his Fin Ch title, Penni got BH
and TK1 in front of her name, Inka passed her field trial test and Pihla was one time BOB in her
show career. And we could say that daughter is better than mother if we compear Saimi`s and Iiris`
tracking career. Iiris got open class champion title in Springerspaniels trackin competitions and it`s
only one missing from her tracking champion title. Saimi is very proud of her puppies, you are really
something, she says. At Kajaani (2008) Saimi started her shows and she was 4th best bitch. Now she
has retired for her maternity leave, and we will see what next Saimi`s puppies bring about.

The year 2008 was almost free from activities for our Saimi. The main event for Saimi was the birth of
her puppies sired by our Pablo on March 10th. She welped 2 + 6 sweet puppies and one of them stayed
with us as usual:) Our first export was from J-puppies and she started show career very well at
St-Petersburg. Saima (Baskethill`s Jewel To You) has achieved her Rus JunCh title already. Saimi`s
I-puppies did  very well too, Iiris aka Baskethill`s Ivory and Ebony got her Tr Ch title, Pihla got Fin Ch
title and talented Penni, Baskethill`s Isabel Duncan continued  her obedience career in Open class and
got first prize alread in her first start. Mother Saimi tryed also to continue her tracking career, but not
very successfully, she got 3rd price in winner class. These J-pups were Saimi`s last puppies, so she will
now continue her show career and perhaps we will see her in tracking competiton too (trying to get her
Tr Ch title).
