Our little man Atte, Baskethill`s King Of Joy has been busy lately. Atte and Marjo visited group dog shows 3 times and every time Atte was BOB puppy: Teerijärvi 28.4., Kaustinen 29.4. and Lieksa 6.5. Huge congratulations to Marjo for showing our little man. :) I took part in agility competition with
Aurora and she had a good speed but result wasn`t very markable.

It was extremely exciting to show our little lively girl. Just like her mother at this age, and a little bit at present too! :) But Amanda gave me a pleasant surprise. She moved with a great style and stood nicely. So she was a BOB-puppy with excellent critique and brother Atte was BOS. Our judge hoped only a little weight loss for Amanda. Next were our champion girls in champion class. All girls got cq and the order was: Aurora, Lara and Anna, Baskethill`s Jet Set Beauty. Unfortunately our Saimi couldn`t come with us, so we didn`t get our breeder`s group together. At the end of day our Aurora went up to 4th best in group. The day was very cold and windy but it was still nice to see and chat with the others. Thanks to our puppy owners for bringing and showing your dogs.

I took part in agility competiton with Aurora. It`s always fun with her and I don't know what she will do next. First was jumping race C and we didn`t get a result because Aurora didn`t see me behind the wall. So she came to see if I was there and then she started the race at the same hurdle she had already done. :) Next were our B and A-races and we got 5 points from both. Time went under the ideal time on both races. Nice day and nice results from the others too. It was pleasure to see so many great starts. |

Last thursday (15.3.12) I started a quite long show trip with Aurora. Our first stop was in Kangasala, Outi`s and Kalle`s place. We spent there one night and next tarket was Tallinn via Helsinki by boat on Friday. Our journey ended to Riga, where we arrived aroud 11.00 pm. On Saturday we spent time shoping in many different fabric stores. What a selection of fabric there was! :) After that we took a late lunch and then went back to hotell to prepeare our dogs. Mine was such a easy work but my room mates...hmm it took quite a long time to groom their dogs. On Sunday we went to show place which was so near our hotell, about ten minutes` drive. In show ring was first our Aurora and she was 3rd best bitch and got Latvia`s CC and became Lv Ch. The results to our team wasn`s so markable at all. But anyway the visit to Latvia was so enjoyable, thank you for your great company Outi, Tiina, Henna and Noora. Special thanks to Outi and Kalle for your hospitality and that great fish meal.

| It was time to celebrate 4th birth our J-pups 10.3.2012 ! :) Last
year was a full of all kinds of happenings and events to all of them. They got puppies too, Kaapo, Baskethill`s Jin Jack Flash sired two litters and our Aurora got puppies of six in autumn. They lifes were full of competitions: tracking, agility, obedience and ofcourse shows. I hope you will all have a same kind of busy year in 2012. |

| Three of our J-puppies were rewarded with three diffrent trophies by their
local kennel clubs. In our local Spaniel club Julius, Baskethill`s Jimmy-The-One got the beginner of agility reward. In same kennel club our Aurora got the best show dog of the year. That`s award was the 3rd in a row for her. In Lapplands Spaniel club Kaapo, Baskethill`s Jin Jack Flash got the beginner of obedience reward. Well done Hanna and Laura with your boys! :) |

| On Valentine`s Day we got very sad news. One of our golden G-pups
Kiira, Baskethill`s Giara Girl left us and that was a great and sad loss to Heidi. They had spent a very long time together, almost half of Heidi`s life. Kiira moved with Heidi first from Rovaniemi to Jyväskylä because of Heidi`s University studies and then to Tampere because of the her work. This couple was together always. Kiira`s depart caused emptiness in Heidi`s life. Thank you Heidi for taking such a good care of Kiira. |

I drove with Jensku, Eddie, Saimi and Aurora to Kajaani.The drive went very quickly with talking by me! :D The rest of the Baskethill`s team was: Anna, Baskethill`s Jet Set Beauty, Lara aka Baskethill`s Jersey Lily and Julius, Baskethill`s Jimmy-The-One. First was Julius and he got exc2 with a great crtique. All our Saimi`s girls were entred in champion class. Best of them was Aurora and she ended 2nd best bitch just 4.5 months after having her puppies. Of Aurora`s sisters Lara was 3rd with cq and Anna 4th with cq in champion class. Well done all our girls! Saimi herself was 2nd in veteran class with cq. Our breeding group consisted of Saimi, Lara, Anna and Aurora and group was BOB. At the end of the day our breeding group was BIS4 after a hard competition. It was a great day and it was also nice to see Sanna and Lara together inside the ring. The day was very enjoyable with Tuija and Jensku. We had a very good chat and laughs with funny jokes. That was really a sosial happening, I thing all dog shows should be such nice events. Thank you all the others too for your nice company and huge congrats to Tarja and Antti for Doris` BOS and Reetta for your male`s BOB.

What happened to us during 2011!

Year 2011 was a great year for us. We showed our breeding group 3 times and results were BIS1 and 2 x BIS2. Our Saimi, Baskethill`s Highlandblossom, took part in veteran class and was 12 x BOB-vet, 2 x BOS-vet, 2 x BIS1, BIS2, BIS3 and BIS4. During autumn we took part in only one show with Saimi and that was Seinäjoki Int.Dog Show. There she was BOB-veteran but we didn`t stay in group final because of Aurora`s puppies. In the leading roll in 2011 have been our J-puppies with their owners. Our Aurora, Baskethill`s Jubilee Blossom, was 13th best show ess and 6th best bitch inspite of her puppies. Aurora left show rings at the end of July and puppies arrived 30.8.11. There were 4 males and 2 beautiful girls. Aurora took part in some agility competitions during the spring and only one 0-result is missing. Anna, Baskethill`s Jet Set Beauty finnished her Fi Ch title in Sotkamo group show in May. She was 6th J-pup champion of the J-pups. Anna started her tracking career too and got 3rd prize in open class. Lara, Baskethill`s Jersey Lily, was shown only a few time in 2011 and we hope to see her in some shows this year too. Our tracking princess was a very busy last year. Elli, Baskethill`s Jolly Jumper got first Fi Tr Ch in July. In autumn she collected two more tracking champion titles, No & Se Tr Ch and Nord Tr Ch titles. That couple, Liisa and Elli, finnished the year 2011 by visiting in Russia and Elli got Rus Ch and RKF-11 titles. Huge year for Elli and Liisa. :) Our Russian princess have a long title line: C.I.E., Rus & Lt & Ee & Blr Ch & Rus JCh & RKF Ch & Rus ClubCh & JRus Club Winner-09 & BlrW-10 Baskethill`s Jewel to You, Saima. Julius, Baskethill`s Jimmy-The-One was started his agility career with style. He was so skilfull that he went up in maxi2 class with Laura in first year. Julius was also in some shows too and was BOS in Rovaniemi group show. Last but certainly not least is Kaapo, Baskethill`s Jin Jack Flash. He need only one CC to get Fi Ch title, he got 1 CC and 1 resCC, so close is title for Kaapo. Kaapo and Hanna took part in tracking competition and they got first prize in open class. They also competed in obedience and got 2 x first prize and 3 x second prize in beginner class. What a clever cople they are indeed. As you can see they have been very busy with their hobbies and with excellent results as wells. So we sent big hugs to every ones, you have done a great work with our J-pups. We wish a
