Then our Saimi aka Baskethill`s Highlandblosssom. She was once BOS and got several best bitch
placements. Her top moment was at Tartu show too. She came second best bitch just after Int.
champion bitch so CC and Cacib were Saimi`s. Now we are waiting  FCI to confirm her title
Int.& Fin & Est Ch. Saimi continued also her tracking career with success. She got first placement
in winner class and now we must start to hunt the missing two next summer:)) Saimi`s offsprings was
busy at year 2007. Inka passed her field trial test, Iiro got his Fin Ch title, Iiris the tracknose was
tracking so well that only one 1st prize is missing and she become Fin tr.Ch. Brainy and talented Penni
got BH & TK1 titles in front of her name and she continues her obedience career in open class.
And lastly I can mention our Pihla, what se done. Nothing much....she got one BOB in her credit and
our hobbies have been agility and obedience. It seems to be true that she has beaten her ghosts
now:)) You can read more what they have done last year from here. Next hope from Saimi are some
sweet puppies with Pablo at the  beginning of next year.

Klaara aka Baskethill`s Golden Blossom is our oldiest goldiest lady. She  started her veteran
career with style. Aunt Klaara was 6th times BOB-veteran and 2 times BIS3-vet. We showed  our
breeder`s group a few times and it was 6 times BOB.

In the middle of last summer we (Pihla & Pablo and I) did one week show and holiday trip to
Sweden with Tarja, Sophie and Henry. We took part two dog shows at Tvååker and Club Show
at Halmstad.The weather was sunny almost  all the days and the journey was really perfect.
Thank you all my friends and of course our puppy owners for so nice company during the last
show year. Thanks a lot of helping to introduce our breeding group Marja, Ulla, Sari, Laura
and Kirsi:)

On Sunday our show began at 11 am, so we didn`t have any hurry to find our ring. It was so nice to see and chat with others at ringside while we waited our turn. First of our team was Iiro and he did it well. He won the working class with excellent. Next was our smiling Pablo and our judge  didn`t like him too much.   After sirs was ladys` turn and Saimi aka Baskethill`s Highlandblossom was 3rd in champion class with exellent. The day was Kirsi`s and her joyfully bouncing Jeffe`s . First they were BOB and then they won the Group and ended up BIS3. That was huge victory and we send a huuuge congratulations with hugs from all of us at Baskethill`s. See you in the next show.....

We had our trio:  Saimi,  Pihla and Pablo with us. All our dogs got excellent and they also were 3rd in they classes. The best dog was Pablo`s  son  Henry who  celebrated his  first day as a father of  his newborn puppies. So  we can call our Pablo a grandfather now:)) Pablo`s other son Bebe was 4th best dog. We started our journey  late Thursday evening by driving to Vaasa. There we jumped into buss, which got us to Helsinki and we took a boat over to Estonia. From Tallinn our journey continued to Tartu. On Saturday we went sightseening in the town center. The weather wasn`t so great but the view  was beautiful.  Sunday morning we went to the Show place and there we met our Estonian friends.  It was very nice to see you all:))  and special thanks to Maret for  such a nice pics!!  How did  Pablo and Saimi........my dear dogs got all what I could dream of and even more. Pablo won the best dog class and got his titles Int & Est Ch and he also came second in group 8. That was much more than I  could imagine. Then was Saimi`s turn and she was second best bitch after beautiful Panda who is already Int.Ch so cacib came to Saimi and she will become Int&Est Ch some day. I`m so happy for these results and it was so nice to see Tartu. Thank you all my fellow travelers for you nice company in our dream trip.

On Friday morning I drove to Hyvinkää with Hilja and Laura and  dogs Iiro, Pablo and Saimi. We stayed a night at the hotel and went to Spaniel`s Main club show at Wanha Villatehdas at Hyvinkää. The day was really nice and it was so lovely to see so many doggy  people and chat with them. The results were magnificent  for English Springers Spaniels especially to Tarja. Her young male Henry aka Adamant`s Take Your Hopes took almost all, he was BOB and BIS3. Daddy Pablo was very proud of his son´s great success:)) The Best Bitch was Tuija`s sweet Sawanne and so I send  big hugs with congratulations to both Tuija and Tarja, Sawanne`s breeder. Our team wasn´t so successful in this main show:  Pablo  was 3rd with  excellent in  champion class, Saimi got VG  because of her heavy soulders and Iiro got VG too in champion class. After that show I jump to  Tarja`s  car about 6.30 pm and  drove to  Muhos  for next day`s Oulu Int.Dog Show.  We were lucky that  our breed  started at  midday and we could enjoy coffee and breakfast without any hurry. The day was very nice from results. Frida was BOB and Pablo was BOS, just the same as Kuopio at  last summer under judge Kirsi Nieminen. Iiro was 4th in champion class with  excellent and girls then: Pihla got EXC1 ( she was little chubby:(( ), Saimi was 3rd in champion class with  excellent and our old aunt - Klaara was  first in veteran  class and she was also the best veteran. Our  breeders group was  second with HP. It was a quite busy day and group finals started just after our breed. The weekend was just perfect to doggy person like me, thank  you all of you my new and old  friends and especially  thanks  to Tarja for your nice  company and big thanks to Ulla, Marja and Laura for helping me to show our girls.:))

We went (Hilja&Iiro and I with Pihla) to Ulla`s and Sauli`s place and spent a nice Sunday afternoon at Ristijärvi. We did a long wandering trip up and down Saukkovaara. The weather was a little bit foggy but  otherwise it was nice and warm. It was a really nice day and we were celebrating Ulla`s 30 years birthday almost top of the Saukkovaara. Congratulations to you Ulla again:))

Weekend 9.9.07 tracking results from Kajaani and Pyhäntä

We (me and Saimi) were a tracking competition at Pyhäntä and Saimi`s daughter Iiris with Ulla were at Kajaani kennel district tracking championships. The day was perfect for both of us. And we can say that next generaton is better than previous. Iiris aka Baskethill`s Ivory And Ebony took her second first prize at winner class with a very high points 48/50 and she was 3rd  in that competition. Saimi aka Baskethill`s Highlandblossom got her first ever 1st prize in the winner class 41/50 points. We continue our tracking career in the next season.

Pablo`s boys have been busy around  last weekend on fields and shows. Two brothers,
Springdale Silver Moon and Springdale Silver Star passed the field trial test and
Sprindale Silver Shadow got his first cacib and was second best male at Tallinn Int.Dog
show. Congratulations to the breeder Riitta Nurmiranta and the boys` owner:))

 

 Spaniel Clubs` tracking championships` at Pyhäntä 12.8.07

They did it again, Iiris the tracknose with his mom Ulla. Iiris had her first winner class start at Pyhäntä and got excellent result 44/50 points. The biggest hugs and congrats to this unbelievable girl and her talented owner:))

At last my computer works with me:)) Last weekend we had super results at Joensuu int. show and also in a tracking competition at Oitti and it was Iiris who did it! She took part with her owner Ulla at Springer Spaniel Club`s championship tracking competition. Iiris aka Baskethill`s Ivory and Ebony got her last open class first prize 45/50 points and her next start is at winners` class. But it wasn`t all, she also got the tracking champion of open  class year 2007. Huge hugs and congratulations to Ulla and Iiris the tracknose:)) The other super thing happend at Joensuu Int.dog show and main roles were Iiro and Laura.  What did they do?   Iiro  was BOB and got cacib and 5th CC and now he is FIN CH Baskethill`s Ironside Brave:)) He is the first one who got his title from our I-puppies. I think that the champion photo is one of the best pics of Iiro I`ve ever seen (above). On Saturday I was at Nilsiä and judged there the Spaniels' Field trial test. After that I went to Tuija`s and Risto`s place to Kuopio with Pablo, Saimi and Pihla. On Sunday our Joensuu team consisted of Pablo, Saimi and Pihla and Tuija with Sawanne aka Adamant`s La Dolce Vita. As I told the day was super day, not only Iiro but also the rest of our team competed succesfylly. First was Pablo who was second best male and Saimi did the same; second best bitch and our little Pihla won her working class with excellent. Not bad day at all:)) Congratulations to Suvi too and her nice little girl Lucy:)) And thanks to Tuija for your nice company at Joensuu turnee and for your hospitality again, I`m thinking about  both of you sisters! My mistake was that I  entered Klaara to champion class altought she was intended to entire to veterans:)) However our Pihla got EXC3 in open class and I hope she has left her ghoast behind her.

  Days in Sweden 12. -16.7.07

In that kind of view and weather we spent some days around last weekend at Ugglarp, Sweden. We took part in three diffrent shows during the weekend. Our team consisted on Tarja  with Sophie and Henry and I with Pablo and Pihla. Our journey began at Wednesday morning and we met the others at Somero and as next part of trip we took  a ferry to Stockholm.Then we drove by car the whole day to Ugglarp. We had a nice cottage there and a great views. First day we had a national show at Tvååker and in Saturday we had a int.show in the same place. At Friday the judge was Per Iversen and at Saturday Hannele Jokisilta judged Springer Spaniels, entire 68 both days. The main show was Club Show at Halmstad on Sunday and judges were Christine Savell (Petranella springers) and David Mitchell (Peasblossom) BIS at Club Show was Su(u)ch,PLch,SW-07 Wongan Romanza At Barecho and resBIS was Su(u)ch Beresford Benefactor. Congratulations to both of winners owners. Our team had the winner couple: Tarja`s little princess Sophie aka Adamant`s Let Me See and his playmate prince Henry aka Adamant`s Take Your Hopes. Our Pablo was placed every day in his open class among 13 - 14 ess. Those were good results, I think:)) But Pihla, o`dear, o`dear - in one moment she was waving her tail but on the next she wouldn`t  do it:(( We`ll try it again............. After hard and hot work was swimming with duck the sweetest job a young springer girl could imagine.:)) Last weekend (1.7.07) Iiris aka Baskethill`s Ivory and Ebony and Ulla were busy at Pyhäntä tracking competition. Iiris took part in her second start at open class and she got a very nice result. In that hot weather she got second prize with very good points 36/50. As you see Iiris from our I-puppies owns a very sharp nose and she has a clever and active owner too. Also Pablo`s son Henry aka Adamant`s Take Your Hopes was busy around last weekend. He participated in two diffrent shows and got 1 x CC, 1 x resCC and BOS to his credit. Congratulations to Henry`s Mom Tarja :))

Iiro was also second in his class with VG. Then was our girls` turn and first of all was Pihla and she took part in open class for the very first time and did it well. She was second and got excellent. Then Saimi was second in champion class and ended up as the 3rd best bitch. Our butterfly girl, Klaara, got the first VG in her veteran carreer. Why  butterfly girl? Because when she was a young springergirl she like to hunt butterflies as hunting dog must do;)) I believe Kirsi that had her best day at dog shows:)) First of all Jeff was BOB then Group winner and ended up  BIS2 and it wasn`t bad day at all for Marja either. Her bitch Moona was BIS2 veteran and her young champion bitch got her cacib and now her Int.champion title is ready. Huge congratulations to both of you and biiigg thanks for helping me to show our breeding group.

Klaara aka Baskethill`s Golden Blossom was in a very good show mood again and she was BIS3 veteran. She really like to be in the  show ring and she is waving her tail all the time. Pihla didn`t like the show place at all and when the wind took a tent round the next ring, it was too much for Pihla. Her show mood was gone and her tail went down but she still showed  herself nicely, unfortunately a judge gave her only G. Pihla`s mother Saimi was herself again and got result best bitch 3 just after her aunt Klaara.Then our boys! Iiro aka Baskethill`s Ironside brave was 3rd with VG and Pablo won his champion class and was second best male. The luckiest owner was Tuija with her beautiful kissmaster Sawanne aka Adamant`s La Dolce Vita. Sawanne got her 5th CC in a short  time. Pablo`s puppies at Adamant`s were bisy around the last weekends. Adamant`s  Take This Dance aka Lady was 1 x BOB-puppy, Adamant`s Take It Easy aka Wiljami was 2 x BOB-puppy, Adamant`s Take That Chance aka Lasse, living in Poland, was 2 x BOB- puppy and also BIS-puppy and last Adamant`s showman,  Adamant`s Take Your Hopes aka Henry won at our Speciality Show`s BOB-puppy and also BIS-puppy trophy and he was first of these puppies who started in the real showworld and he did it with style. Unfortunately  her back wasn`t so steady, so she got VG3 and Iiro got the same result in his class. Saimi aka Baskethill`s Highlandblossom was second in championclass today. Our breedersclass got an honourprize. But the day was Marika`s and her Mailis`, congratulations and big big hugs to this day`s BIS-winner at Ii Group Show and also to Kirsi and her bouncing- Jeffe hugs sends Jaana with girls and thank you for helping again;-)

What about the girls then? Pihla was 3rd with excellent in intermediate class, Saimi won championclass and Klaara was the best veteran . She really enjoyed the show with waving tail. Our young man Iiro was in a very good show mood with his talented owner Laura and he competed of the first place against our Pablo. But this time Pablo took his place. Peppi was 4th in her class. Our breeders class was the best of breed, but unfortunately one of us had to go home before the big ring. Yesterday we had  visitors here; our I-puppies with their owners Iiris and Ulla, Penni and Tiina, Marja and Peppi, Laura and Iiro and Hilja with mother Saimi, Pihla and aunt Klaara. We took a long walk far around in the forest. We had a nice meeting and after the long walk Timo`s cookings, soup and pancake with coffee, tasted very good. It was so nice to have you here.;))

Weekend 21.-22.4.07 in Norway and news around the weekend...........

We travelled very far to Norway,  to a town called Harstad and for an Int.Dog Show.  I had my Saimi aka Baskethill`s Highlandblossom with me.  I think that Norway is a difficult land for us. Saimi was best bitch 3 again, the Norwagian champion title was so clouse but just enough far away from us. Congratulations to Annsofie and Susanne for your great wins;)) And thank you Lea for your nice company and Saimi sends a biiig hug to Iivari, sometimes  life is hard to live with girls Iivari!!!;))

We got very nice news from Estonia. Pablo`s son Springdale Silver Shadow got his title Balt JunCH !;)) Congratulations to Maret and your crew, you have done a very  nice job with him. Daddy is very proud of you Silver;))

While we were enjoying Easter time and had  long walks around forest and

Pablo was the best one of our team and my Saimi dear, o`dear.....  her waistline was a little too round;)) It means that her meal portions have to bee smaller........poor Saimi and I must do same things to Pihla, more jogging - less food to all of us! Thanks to Tuija for your company and your hospitable and congratulations to Tarja and Saila again for your excellent results...........

Baskethill`s Isabel Duncan aka Penni got her x-ray results and it was B-B. So she
was 6th x-rayed out of seven I-puppies and all are fine, I couldn`t be more pleased!!


 

Here is Springdale Silver Shadow from Pablo`s first puppies and photo was taken  last weekend`s  Int.Dog Show in Lithuania. There he got  his title Lithuania JuniorWinner-07 and he was also BOB and BIS2 junior. Congratulations again Silver`s breeder Riitta and his owner Maret Talk.

Yesterday (4.3.07) was Puppy Show at Helsinki and two Pablo`s and Windy`s boys took part of this show. What successful start they had..... Henry aka Adamant`s Take Your Hopes was BOB and Group 3 and brother Eku aka Adamant`s Take Your Dream was second best dog puppy with honor prize. Congratulations to you Tarja, Henry`s breeder and owner;))

Yesterday we were at Tornio. We have Pablo and Pihla with us and there was also Pihla`s brother Iiro. The youngsters took part at intermediate class and both got VG1. Pihla`s critique was such a nice to read: "Sweet feminin bitch, excellent head appearance, excellent neck, good proportions, excellent forechest, excellent angulation, feets and paws. Very good movement. Little bit sink in her movement, a little bit wary." She moved better than last time, so I think she is improving now;)) Pablo got such a nice critique too. So at last I send a big congratulations to kennel High Score, you have a wonderful day with your beautiful dogs!

Saimi`s youngster Iiro got EXC3 in intermediate class and he was showing his best in the show ring. It was very nice to see Laura and Iiro in move. And Saimi`s girls then; both Inka and Pihla got VG, Inka was 4th. The day was really nice for Heli, so once again - congratulations.:)) We met also Pablo`s son, he had the same kind of character as his father, carefree, frendly and open-minded male. His name is Springdale Silver Moon "Hemppa" and he got EXC2 in juniorclass.
