Chessan was born as the only bitch of Eve's last litter. I didn't have a
choice but I couldn't have had any better than her. She stayed with us with her
brother Paavo and used to trick him all the time. She didn't do anything
unnecessary - the smart ones have to work less.

She loved swimming and also duck-hunting was her favourite thing in the autumns. Chessan was a real show-star who loved being in the ring and especially the big ring was her favourite scene.
For this energic lady tracking was everything and she had a unique style of
her own. She had a fast pace and the judges also had to try to keep up with her.

Chessan had two litters ( E and F litters). The first was sired by
Int&Fin Ch Shipden Ketelby and the F litter had the famous father Multi
Ch Whisborne Devil In Disquise. We had a bitch from both litters,
Baskethill's Even So Blossom and Baskethill's For
A Blossom. She did well in being a mother just as she succeeded in
evrerything she liked to do. I couldn't imagine a more versatile English
Springer Spaniel than Chessan. Unfortunately illness got this wonderful bitch at
the age of 11.
